Crucial Conversations for Accountability (In-Person and Virtual)

Crucial Conversations for Accountability teaches a process and series of dialogue skills for managing performance-from coaching through behavior challenges, to helping people identify and achieve goals, and get back on track when performance falters. Anchored on the foundations of holding impactful dialogue, this course focuses on skills for candidly and respectfully holding peers accountable regardless of the other person’s power, position, or authority.

Excel 1 (In-Person and Virtual)

In-Person: Thursday, May 8 (8:30 am-4:30 pm)

In this hands-on beginner class, you will learn to create, modify, format and print Excel worksheets and workbooks. You will learn basic formulas and functions, how to manipulate data, and how to add charts. This course is ideal for people new to Excel who need to produce reports, budgets, lists and other spreadsheets.

LifeLabs: Influential Communication + Feedback Skills (In-Person and Virtual)

In-Person: Wednesday, May 21 (8:30 am-4:00 pm)

Influential Communication: In this workshop, participants will explore their personal definition of influence and learn practical, research-backed techniques to strengthen it. They’ll practice key question types to boost clarity, connection, and momentum-and leave with tools to better understand stakeholders and a plan to continue building their influence skills.

Feedback Skills: Participants will learn a four-step process for giving effective feedback-from reducing defensiveness to creating meaningful dialogue. Through practice, they’ll turn vague feedback into clear, actionable insights and build trust by reinforcing strengths. The course also covers how to ask for feedback and foster a feedback-rich team culture, with skills that can be applied immediately, even in remote or uncertain environments.

This course will guide you through creating more dynamic and visually engaging presentations by building on foundational skills and introducing advanced features. The course covers transitions and animation, themes, slide masters, advanced formatting, SmartArt, adding audio and video, collaborating with others, protecting your presentations and more.

Shapiro Negotiations-Non Sales (In-Person)

Thursday, June 26 (8:30 am-4:30 pm)

This course teaches participants how to effectively persuade and drive action-even without formal power. Participants learn to build credibility quickly, engage emotions thoughtfully, present logical arguments strategically, and ultimately facilitate meaningful action. The course includes interactive case studies, simulations, and personality insights to help participants strengthen their influencing instincts and apply them in real-world scenarios-leading to stronger relationships, better collaboration, and more impactful results.
